Who are we?
Sefton Children’s Trust is a charity with a 40 year old history started by a group of foster mothers in 1984.
Since then, we have evolved into a charity that champions Sefton children to make sure they are given the same opportunities as their peers. We have been providing residential experiences for Sefton children since the start of the charity and developed services around festive periods for children and families.
Our week-long residential experience allows Sefton children to access physical activities, three healthy meals a day, education around environmental sustainability and teambuilding to promote positive childhood experiences which will promote healthy mental health well into adulthood.
Sefton Children’s Trust also provides a Family Day after Christmas where children will watch a new movie in The Plaza and a healthy buffet-style meal at Nicolas Ristorante in Waterloo.
Sefton Children’s Trust believes in fairness for all children in one of the most disadvantaged areas in the UK.
